Lego announces new Mindstorm system

Greetings from Northern BC.

Lego has announced a new mindstom system.

This new system looks to be quite an improvement over the older RCX bricks.

Check it out at http://www.lego.com/eng/info/default.as ... ntid=17278

FYI: The Royal Hudson is not a specific locomotive, but a line of steam locomotives. There are 5 lines of Hudson Locomotives. The Royal title came about after the monarchy used them to cross canada. There were two involved in this crossing (both from the streamlined class). Since then the entire fle...

Actually Lego is one of the biggest reasons for the expansion. I need a room for building and my train layout. I'm thinking about 20' by 15'. :-)Does that sound about right. We are looking at expanding the main floor by either 70% or just adding another floor. Either way we will have a lot of space ...

Lego Room

I'm in the process of designing a new addition to our house. It will be about 700 sq foot extra per floor - 12 feet for the length of the house.

Any suggestions for the Lego room? Needs to accomodate Building, Displaying and a train layout.

Re: Hogwarts Express Train Set @ Costco

Costco has this new train set (Set #10132) in stock and on sale, from October 18th to the 31st. Shop at Home price is $169.99 Cdn. Costco's sale price is $134.99. I'm rethinking getting this set at Costco. TRU has it for $169.99, and chances are they'll clear it out sometime for at least 25% off (a...

I'm going to be moving to Prince George, but will always be on these forums. I'm an avid scuba diver and Port McNeil/Telegraph Cove happens to be my favorite dive area in BC.

I'll look you up when I go diving in that area again.

I think that the icons themself look great, but the particular choice of color and look just doesn't make it easy to understand what they mean.
The choice of colors for their meaning just isn't intuitive, at least not to me.

Other than that, I love the new look of this site.

Great work Dean.
