Home Depot has these fantastic containers for $0.97 each. They're stackable, 12" (L) 7" (W) 4.5" (T) and completely transparent. I picked up 30, I think I may pick up another 20 next time I get paid.

Speaking of the train layout, I'm going to pick up a couple sets of the ME R88 wide radius track if that's of any interest. It'd be power functions only though which is a bit of a drag (I have to convert my locomotives to PF still :/ ).
