Re: Fire House it is

It went on sale today on Shop@home for $199, in addition to the Tantine IV, which looks like a sweet set.

Shop @ Home

Shop@home has free shipping over $75, and also the Green Grocer on sale for $189.99 ($30 off). Free shipping definitely helps.

I voted transportation centre. I'd love to see a remake of the monorail system, esp if you could work in the power functions. I doubt they would though as it wouldn't be very universal (hence once of the reasons they ditched 9v trains).

I uploaded today some progress photos of my space station. I changed/upgraded the solarium, plus the main hanger/control module. http://www.flickr.com/photos/deepinafrica/ I also have developed (unless someone else came up with it), a modular conduit system to power each 48x48 square. All the plates...

Looks like a great idea, almost a spinoff of BRIO brand flex track, only seperated. I think it'll be a hit and uber useful, however i bet it is RC style track though. It'd be great to be 9v, though on that note, i wonder how Barry's track idea would compare.

The church we go to is CLCC in Abbotsford. They are just about done their new building, so we'll have lots of room for the show thing then. At the moment we're renting a high school gym. Thanx for the offer. Once i have an idea of when it is and how much i/we can do, then i'll know how much to fill ...

Classic Space

Hey guys! If anyone has extra classic space parts and/or figs and would like to either sell them or trade for other items, let me know as i am in the process of starting my space station again. Probably in about a week or two i will have some pics.

Thanx,

Trade?

I was trolling Craigslist today and noticed this gem:

http://vancouver.en.craigslist.ca/bab/980361773.html

Who would want to trade Lego duplo/quattro for megablocks?

Normally megablocks just gets landfilled because it is pretty well garbage.

Anyways, surprised me.

Last year Christmas superstore was pretty good, but i would agree this year was a non-event there. All Abby superstore had was some duplo. Maybe i'll swing by the mission one tomorrow to see if they are as dire in inventory.

I must admit, i am in the mood for some deals. :)

London Drugs

London drugs has a 20% off sale right now. Granted their selection is about as bad as it gets, however they did have the Troll Battle Wagon? for $26.99 less 20%. Walmart had this set reduced to $10 a few days ago, but i didn't see many left. The one in abby had none left once i went through :) Graham

ToysRus Sale

ToysRus has 30% off a couple sets (plus free shipping over $70), like the Technic Excavator and Telescopic Handler (which both have the new Linear Actuators). They have a couple other sets on sale but these are pretty neat.
