Re: series 6 leak?

These all look incredible!

The question is when they will get released and will Canada finally get to be "first on the receiving dock" :-)

Re: bn.com 30% off

My parents did what they could for me when I was growing up. We did not have much so I had to commit to a single "technology tree" so to speak, and I picked G.I. Joe. Hence, my LEGO collection was pretty basic. We also later gave it away to my cousins. I am making up for lost time :-) I hope your pa...

Re: Target (USA) Summer Clearance

Hi Tim, I assume you mean Pet Shops at the LEGO Bellevue store . . . if so, they had plenty. They also had several Medieval Market Villages as well. The Star Wars section was well stocked also.

Re: Target (USA) Summer Clearance

The sale is bonkers and completely erratic depending on the Target in question. Was down over the weekend with wifey and the kids (we were visiting Bellevue). No Burrows or Queen Anne's Revenge left, but the sale worked out to be about 30-50% off US MSRP, which is about 50% off of CDN MSRP. I picked...

Yes, yes, I have this obsession with barnyard animals :-) Spoken like a true VLC member. Now if only we can convince you ditch the daughters every once in a while and come out and play with us! Yeah, the last several months have been absolutely insane. I did have a blast at the last (and inaugural)...

Re: Today I bought...

Postal workers were legislated back to work. I got three outstanding brick link orders all in one day, as well as the replacement gold coins (yet no gold bars) from my POTC sets that lego sent me all in the same day last week. :) My girlfriend and I were at the Lego store in Calgary on Wednesday. I...

Re: Today I bought...

Those Ninjago spinner figs are so addictively cute! I bought my Nya at Walmart (locally). When I was last at Bellevue, I picked up the Sensie Wu one :-) Was the Sensei Wu Spinner more expensive with the weapons pack? Cool that it has on each of those purple and green force wave thingies. I just see...

Re: Today I bought...

The Mill Raid looks great... is it recommended with two thumbs up? 2 Thumbs Up if you can acquire it at the US MSRP ($70 USD). It is a bit steep in Canadian dollars. That being said, the minifigs and the farm animals are superb - a required addition to any medieval collection. The buildings are als...

I'll have to try this Stan's BBQ some time!

My favorite eat is that Dumpling place across the street from Bellevue next to the Microsoft offices!

Re: Heroica

Played it with my girls last night. The game is very simple, but has the potential to be custom-modded to whatever complexity you want! The microfigures are so cute! The little goblins are hillarious. The little Heroes are also well done!

Heroica

Just picked up the smallest of the Heroica sets! The little goblins look so cute. Cannot wait to play this one with my girls!

Anyone have any feedback on these games?

Re: WTB: Series 1 minifigs

You should try BrickLink or EBay. There are no stores carrying Series 1 anymore and most people are unlikely to part with their Series 1 figs. Series 1 was the smallest production run by far, i.e., the most rare. Good luck!

I did not realize there was a LEGO minifig guy at the Flea market! I once thought about going to the Flea market (to look for original Clone troopers) but never carried that plan out. Good to hear that the LEGO resale market has penetrated even the local Flea market!

Hey Everyone. I am working on collecting all of the first 3 sets. I am willing to either trade or pay for the figs. Just let me know what you would like. Here is the list of what I am still needing. Series #1 - Robot Series #2 - Spartan Series #3 - Alien, Baseball Player, Elf, Pilot, Mummy, Hula Da...

That big set with the goats and chickens (and pitchforks!) makes me giddy! I need at least 2 of those. What the heck, I'll get 3.

To make things worse, my brown horses are not even the same brown haha! 1 old school and 2 new ones!

They should make Series 6 all about freakin' farm animals :-)
- 1 horse
- 2 sheep
- 1 cow
- 3 chickens

Heck yeah, I would buy tons of those :-)

Re: Prison Carriage Rescue #7949 $9.07

Can someone tell me why LEGO makes BROWN horses so rare? It's so polar . . . either midnight black or pure white . . . an earthy brown would be great!

I think I might have 3 brown horses altogether, and plenty of the others!
