Airport and Amusement Park

LS@H has the following two sets 50% off: 5524 Airport CAD 29.98 5525 Amusement Park CAD 49.98 There's little to be saved by combining orders since shipping is proprotional to how much you buy. Roughly: $50 ships for $10, while 10x$50 ships for $5 each. But if saving $5 is worth it to you I can do a ...

cannon trade (from 4895 Motion Power draft)

I got one lot of eleven cannons from the draft and discovered they're not the same as the older cannons. If you got the other lot, will you trade me one of the cannons for an older (but unused) model? If have four of the older ones if you want more than one. I'd also like to have twelve matching pro...

I luuuuuvvvvv it!
Suggestion: a minifig pin setter. I'm no expert on bowling alley
history, but it seems possible some lanes of that era might
still have employed a human pin setter.

If your overflow looks like my overflow - mostly pins and
axles - then no.
I don't suppose you want to get rid of any good stuff like
beams or gears?

The cashier said it was the fourth one she'd rang through today.

Thanks for digging that up, chump. It's good to have more information. This is heartening: "...sets that have significant amounts of grey, like the SW and KK line, won't see substitutions at all." Absolutely correct. Posted by: Jake Since I saw bags full of old dark grey, I can probably stop losing ...

Beware the newer 10030 ISDs are in new grey now. Are you trying to give me a heart attack?!? It's about four weeks now I've had it, so returning could be dicey. And tomorrow I go away for a week, which doesn't help. Box was still sealed - I'm reluctant to open it since I made a promise not to until...

I posted this a few days ago but I guess it was eaten by the big server crash. So I was back at Bears (my girlfriend makes me walk the West Van seawall with her - I drag her into the toy store :) ) and this time tried to remember prices. From memory only: $137 http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/4511-1 $...

Nope, but this isn't a store where you typically find any deals.
Consider the neighborhood it's in. :)
The do have a decent selection of the pricier sets though.
They had the Star Destroyer! I remember that price: $400.
You could call and ask for prices. They're quite helpful.

I saw a couple different sets in Bears Toy Store in West Van today. http://www.bearstoystore.com/ I think it was these two, but I don't remember for sure: http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/4511-1 http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/451...

Gringott's Bank - classic color alert

Hey you classic color fans. The Bay downtown has about 20
of these:
http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/4714-1
Notable pieces: small train wheels, old track, short minifig legs.
They're priced at $40 but with the sale they're an almost
reasonable $30 each if you get two.

walmart 50th anniversary buckets $8.93

500 piece bucket with a few gold bricks
no gray (hence no new gray) and the brown is classic brown!
http://peeron.com/inv/sets/4105-2

90 piece duplo, if anyone cares
http://peeron.com/inv/sets/4085-2

Capilano Mall had lots of both, in a bin in the aisle.
Lougheed had only the duplo, in an end cap.
