Hey guys, broke my vow, so it'll have to be next year. Hope it went well! Pics? Partially due to the lack of response here, but mostly the fact that there's so much to do when getting ready for snowfall when you live in the bush with no power...heh. Still could use answers to my questions for next y...

Hi guys, long lost Dean 2 saying hello from the interior. I have my Lego still in storage sadly, but vowed I'd go to BrickCon this year, so have signed up for the full show. I'm thinking of going down on Thurs, and staying three nights, so if someone wants to share a room on any/all the nights, that...

Hi Guys, I am around online these days again, but out of the area indefinitely. I have been taking care of membership applications though I believe and did give another new member info about the next meeting. Now that summer's over, it's great to see the club getting several new membership signups. ...

mmm, I like the first one. Not sure what the dark colored section is all about, but the builder's got style (and too much time and bricks). Humbling.

mm, good point Who, maybe i'll print up some Toy Trader logo and text for either side of the door (where the strangely placed shields are). I wanted to do something else with those anyway.

Thanks for the complements. I just put this together as a fun release from the marathon cathedral. And wanted to use new colors to break things up. Hope the duplo doesn't offend. This MOC has gotten more attention than the cathedral by some visitors by my place, so thought it might appeal to certain...

Batman is here!

Probably not as excited as I (old Batman fan), but the new Batman are out. I was in Zeller (North Surrey) and they had their second one half off sale, and I was about the get the hp ships (need the tan) until I saw the Batman stuff. Got two of each of the sets there (7779,7780,7781). Their stock was...

HP Train - 10132 & Bonus

I think I can get a deal on a few of these (the ones with the bonus boxes of track (one straight, one curved). The one I got awhile back had old gray in the bonus, new gray in the set. Can't say for sure about these, but imagine they're all old in the bonus boxes? Anyway, nice windows and stuff too....

Hi Jeremy,
I have a pretty good duplo collection but none of those. Maybe one of the train people will see this message and have some advice. Search lugnet or google it of course as well.

Good Luck

Merry Christmas all! Hope everyone had as good a Lego Christmas as I did. I have finally started my cathedral (could be for show if appropriate) that I have been planning, and am stocking up on my stained-glass materials. Putting in an order on bricklink, but thought I would ask here just in case. A...

The gold bricks are the cheap plastic (and of course not chromed, just colored). On the other hand, lots of brown and green. I have too much basic, count me out drafting this.

Hi guys, it was a great draft, I'm hooked. When's the next one? I think I left my corduroy(?) light brown shirt in the room last night..if anyone (Dean?) happens to see it, I'd appreciate you putting it aside for me...somewhat valuable to me. Congrats Dave on the mech. And good choice for the next c...

Wookie Attack has 70 conveyor belt links. Up to a week ago, I have been waiting to add these to my collection. Wouldnt ya know it, the week I get my first ones (via a second hand buy), I find out there's a new set with a bunch in it! So, anyways, now I have around 200! Exciting (for me at least, bei...
