Re: SBrick Plus

Apparently the SBrick+ can communicate with the sensors from WeDo - The Official Lego educational packs. Unless you plan to buy those packs, I don't imagine the added functionality would be worth the added cost... or siply buying more SBricks since I have 2 now. :) Added in 37 seconds: Still, good t...

There is, but it's one of those messages that doesn't get read and people just press accept. I haven't made any changes yet, but I will see what our options are in this regard.

Re: FORUMS UPGRADES

I like that idea. Let me look into the settings to see if that is possible. Something to keep in mind though, while we do want people to come around due to their interest in the club, we also want to get good deals on Lego. We don't want to have people post 5 posts of trash just so they can post the...

Re: WTB Power Functions Parts

Lego Shop at Home has those parts for cheaper than BrickLink (I've found) and have free shipping on orders over $35 now. If I had to guess, are you building the Ultimate 42009 crane? If looks like the shopping list I had a few months back. :)

I WISH! It is really expensive. That part now sells (per part) for about double the original price of the set it came in and there were 2 in that set. That was a solid investment est if you got one!

Re: For the technic Geeks.

I had a read through that yesterday and it certainly has its advantages. Attaching to the new gear is easier, but like the writer mentions, creating a roller bearing has yet to be successfully accomplished simply. I'm sure it's possible, it's just not as simple as putting spheres between two gears.

Re: 10254 Winter Holiday Train

I was about to gripe about it not being power functions, and I still will. A push train, really? That said I see on the box that it does support power functions being added to it so it was built with that in mind, so that's great! As to the colors, unless there are any new parts, this set could easi...

Looking to buy or trade 2 blue base plates (48x48)

I'm pulling together a MOC for but don't want to have to buy 2 Sydney Opera Houses to get these two plates: 6030733 If anyone has 2 in relatively good condition I'd be willing to buy them, or trade depending on what you are looking for. Send me a PM. I also have a list of additional stuff, but figur...

If only we had a little widget that tracked how many times our members have been blogged about with links to all their creations; would be both an interesting read as well as a view into the evolution of their style.

Hi Cyndi, It's great to have a member of Salug drop by! I will have to agree with the things you have heard, BrickCan was a pile of fun!
