Re: Star Wars Battle packs now $14.99..
I take it you're referring to 2009 vs 2010 pricing for Battle Packs? Otherwise, I'm confused.

Re: TRU buy 2 save 15% buy 3 save 25%
This thread was based on a now expired sale and has been bumped (rather than starting new thread), which has the same discounts but with some different themes selected, as Legofactory points out.

Looking for particular minfigs - TEAM GB to trade
Looking for these minifigs , so let me know if you're interested in trades, either minifigs, pieces or sets (if you've got a bunch of figs on my list), and if so what themes. I'm looking for as new, tight joints and not chewed on. They are in no particular order. I'm hoping to fulfill locally before...

Re: 30% off ALL LEGO Shamryn Hobbies
I don't mean to be a post police, but since this is in a public forum, in my opinion, the title should read 20% off (or append it to read "for VLC members"), as you're making the assumption that everyone reading is a member of the VLC. You can still leave the notice that VLC members get an extra 10%...

Re: 40% off ALL LEGO Shamryn Hobbies CLOSE OUT SALE
I went to see Barry's store today and as AC says, it's not closing any more. He did have a two day sale over the weekend when he thought he was having to closeout. He is, however, still doing a 20% off regular and 30% off for red tag.
Please change the thread title, as it is now misleading.

Re: Sears.ca 25% off Select Sets and $15 off $100+ coupon
Sorry to hear that your coupon didn't go through. I wasn't prepared to take a chance on it not working based on what I'd read and with what beethead wrote in the OP. Using the Sears Card, the $15 discount (as a proportionate discount on each product) did reflect on my confirmation e-mail. What sets ...

Re: Sears.ca 25% off Select Sets and $15 off $100+ coupon
If it were me making those posts, I would have posted in the style of "Lego Venator for sale" then in the posting itself, I would list the details and to purchase using the Sears.ca link. Although, I've only been using Craigslist for a short while, I've seen a few people do that. Craigslist is not a...

Re: Sears.ca 25% off Select Sets and $15 off $100+ coupon
Speaking of which is anyone here involved in the back and forth on there about the people selling MISB Sets, trying to make a profit from store sales? Not pointing any fingers. Just curious. Walmart also has sale this weekend. City Corner for 69.99 and some other starwars stuff. I hit up 3 stores in...

Re: Sears.ca 25% off Select Sets and $15 off $100+ coupon
I got a Sears card last night to do this. I also got a $10 credit for signing up. I guess that's where the Venator posted on Craigslist came from. You actually don't need a credit card to use the code. I tried it 2 weeks ago and it still works without it. But at least you got $10 credit for signing...

Re:
Its actually a rip off if they charge you $55 retail. Its actually same thing as anakin starfighter for $27 with just an extra vulture droid. LEGO think they can double the price with a couple of new droids and print a limited edition Logo on it. How ridiculous. So is it a rip off from Lego that th...

TRU buy 2 save 15% buy 3 save 25%
Based on the TRU flyer for next week and from my vague memory. As the title says, buy 2 get 15%, buy 3 get 25%, buy 10 get 100% off. Okay... not the last one. It only applies to certain themes and I don't think Star Wars is included. At least it's a straight discount as opposed to the BOGOHO where y...

Re: Sale at Barry's store
It is 30% only. 20% is what he's putting things on sale for the general public. The extra 10% is for being part of VLC and you must let him know that you're a member (use the secret handshake), so he knows to give you 30%. The sale starts on Saturday. I don't know about the red stickered items disco...

Costco Richmond (in-store)
I saw two sets at the Richmond Costco (other locations YMMV). They only had one or two of a Star Wars set 8036 Separatist Shuttle (I could be wrong, but that's what it looked like and the price makes sense) and a bunch of 7682 Indiana Jones Shanghai Chase. Each set was $29.99 which is 25% off of MSR...

And since it's just around the corner from Andrew's, the Walmart at Lougheed has three of the 7751 Ahsoka's StarFighter and Vulture Droid for $20 on Clearance (reg $55)

Sears.ca, your official source for new Lego news!
I checked on http://www.classic-castle.com and I think it's actual name is 7097 Trolls' Mountain Fortress.

Female minifig. Yay! Okay... so she's a troll.

Re: Shop @ Home
Buying off the US S@H nets a small savings. You have to factor in Washington State tax (9%), exchange rate of say 1.2 (you have a real bad credit card) and GST & PST (12%) and the US$2 and gas. So on Green Grocer US$120 (Cdn$180) it works out to Cdn$180 vs Cdn$202, so about a $20 savings. I guess yo...

And if it makes sense to you (factoring in exchange rate, GST & PST that you'll pay at the border and your location) you may want to ship to Point Roberts, The Letter Carrier. http://www.thelettercarrier.com They charge US$2 per delivery to receive. On sale too is the Lego Eiffel Tower. Reg $300 Sal...
