Is this a remodel of an existing TRU or a brand new store?

This is a new concept Toys-R-Us store, called "WonderLab". Basically, it's kind of like each major brand has a "mini" store or section within the overall store. LEGO has a nice section there. I don't know how the selection will compare to a "normal" TRU, but the idea is intriguing.
The store has a nice (2 x 3 baseplates) mosaic showcase, and will feature a custom mosaic piece there on an ongoing basis. I'll be designing new mosaics as time goes by. As part of the opening celebrations, we're building the first one tomorrow (yes, June 8th)! The public (kids of all ages!) can help build it. I'll be there from noon on (until the mosaic is complete), and anyone that comes will join me in creating this first piece, a North Vancouver inspired image. Hope to see some of you there!
