Okay, I know what LEGO brand purists will say, but what about the rest of you?

Thoughts on this?

It does look cool. I had seen something similar at one time where someone added copper traces to bricks for electrical prototyping. I wonder though how it would handle shorting out etc. Lego is designed to prevent kids from hurting themselves with electrical components, this seems to expose all that, but perhaps it's not designed for kids... Might be fun to test out and see what it can do.

It's like an updated version of the old Lights and Sound sets.

I think I prefer the old lights and sound system. I think they stopped producing it since it is very expensive and they have switched entirely over to Power Functions.
I own a bit of Lego. A little obsessive by some peoples standards.

This set had light and sound but wasn't part of that series. I thought it was a cool fire truck Creator-like set.

Set: 735-1

I would have liked to pick up a few of these bricks back in the day.

Does anyone have replacements for some of the colours for the light covers?
