Ever see a Lego creation and wonder "How did they do that?"
Happens to me all the time but then I'm a relative amateur.
I'd like folks to share their "How did they do that?" moments,
with or without solutions. I'll start the ball rolling:

It's round! How did they do that? A zillion hinge pieces? I dunno.
How did they do that??

Here's another example. Could be a big wall of 1x2's but here's
another possibility: Cover a baseplate with tiles. If you use
narrow tiles aligned the same way you could probably flex it
a fair bit, concave or convex.

Quiet here lately...
This looks to be an example of the "bend it into a circle" method
on an enormous scale.
I came across this monster ferris wheel

then scoured the web and brickshelf looking for close-ups and
eventually found this

Looks like the outer ring of this beast consists of a mile or so
of 1xN beams and plates, studs on the side, bent into a circle.
You can see what looks like two motors with drive wheels
pressed against the ring.

Hey , check out this piano, I tried to put this thing together but couldn't figure out how to support they keyboard in the frame. The frame and the keys themselves weren't a problem but Connecting them was.
