Post by soundwave »

I have created this thread as a means for us post any new or interesting pieces that are currently available at our local Lego Store.

Yes, I should have started a new thread. So glad you did.

On the Oakridge Lego PaB wall, as of April 10th, 2012

1x1 orange round plate
1x2 trans-black brick (no centre rod)
2x8 2x6 white brick
2x8 blue brick
2x2 red tile
2x4 med blue brick
1x2 light grey Tile, Modified with Handle
1x4 reddish brown tile
1x1 trans clear round plate
1x2 trans clear plate
1x1 orange brick

It seemed like there were a few repeat element bins as well.

Ok so here is a perfect example of how we need to make the the top of this thread a sticky with " current " contents updated . instead of listed Tan 2x4 , it has to be added to the list .

----

After each edit , Put a time stamp and your name so example

2x2x10 triangluar pillars - black -

Last updated - 2:49pm April 14 2012 - Dave D

like that

I cannot seem to make it a sticky from the edit command . I might not have the high enough moderator status to do so

Maybe someone with a flickr account could send a message to this guy to add the Vancouver store. Then using this site might be the easeist way to keep an up-to-date inventory?

I saw a few noteworthy pieces on the PAB wall since i was there last:
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=61780 (2x2x2 box in dark gray.)
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=2489 2x2x2 barrel in brown
http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=3027 6x16 plate in dark gray

i have seen all 3 items in Bellevue in the past but i can never get enough large plate and the barrels and boxes have some neat uses

There were green plates the other day, but I can't recall what size. Probably 6x16 or similar. No more grey.

A few days ago (May 20/21?) I saw 2x4 dark green bricks (as in the dark green used primarily for the 10194 Emerald Night). They were up higher on the wall.

Edit: I may have made a mistake - They were probably "regular" green, like your typical green baseplates.

1x1 round trans clear, trans red, trans light blue, lime green, orange
Plant green stems, no red flowers, bamboo leaves
1x2 brick trans black, trans clear, lime green, blue, yellow
Red chairs
Trans orange cheese slopes
2x2 tiles dark tan, yellow, red
2x2 Dark grey crate

No dark green elements (reg green 2x4 and maybe 1x3 brick higher up the wall)

Grab bags didn't look like PaB stuff, More like a broken up Town Hall, but not really any good value in my opinion.

Anybody ever ask if their are a few juicy parts in the back for Afols?

I need some stems for the MOC i'm working on right now, does Oakridge currently have some? The Brickbuildr site isn't very reliable as it hasn't been updated in a while.

They didn't have any last weekend.
You can always make requests with the staff to get certain elements in.

I've emailed Belinda a few times, but they were either out of stock or they never got any in.
