Just wondering ,how much do people in the club spend per year on Lego?Do some of us buy sets to sell off right away or do people just horde as much as they can like me .
I know my spending habits wont be the same after two kids, but I probaly spend about $1500 to $2000 a year on little plastic bricks, also depends on how much of a bonus I get at work.
Take care all,happy hunting,sale or not,..Andrew

I spend $600 - $700 a year the past 2 years but I used to to spend more.
Re: How much?
My wife said she'd cut my hand off if I bought anymore Lego.

Re: How much?
Probably about $300 to $500 on new stuff and another $300 on value village, garage sales, bricklink. I usually get one huge set a year, like a Green Grocer and Fire Brigade, likely next year it'll be the next modular building, the marketplace. Then again isn't next year also when they wanted to release the transportation center? Looks like it might be the higher figure next year
Re: How much?
Transportation center..... monorail maybe!
Re: How much?
I think I also spend $300-500, usually on some of the larger, LEGO exclusive sets. It usually involves a trip to Bellevue cuz I hate paying the CDN price on the larger sets.
To be honest, I really have no more room for new stuff, so I have to be very selective on what I buy. I haven't gotten over the colour change, so I no longer buy sets in multiples from retail stores, and I only buy pieces in bulk from Bricklink if I'm working on a special project (which is never).
