You serious about 7979? Isn't that last year's Castle Advent calendar?

I second that. 7979-didn't that sell out?
8061 is a good price. Peaple are selling the squid guy for $15-$19 on ebay.

Sorry to disappoint. It's not an advent calendar. It's a Racer set. I would have mentioned if advent sets were there.

No worries Pierre, appreciate the heads up regardless. That large Atlantis set is nice but I need to curb my LEGO spending a bit! That being said, I would have gone hog wild if there were some Castle Advent calendars for discount!

The Kingdoms Advent Calendar is pretty sweet. We picked up 2 of these (one for my eldest and one for Dad!). Amazingly, we have actually stuck to the calendar and haven't ripped the whole thing open! My daughter is definitely looking forward to finding the "girl" minifigs. I suspect she'll add them to her "ladies of LEGO" shrine (I got her one each of all the CMF girl minifigs - except for the witch which she does not like). I'm just waiting to add another pig to my collection :-)

I was just there and they also had 8263 (Technics Snow Groomer) for $40. I was quite tempted but left with just Gateway of the Squid.

My son and I had an early christmas together.

So we've already opened all of 2010 Kingdoms Advent calendar, this was my first one and I LOVED IT.. I am sorely disappointed I did not order two!! So many extra bits! And the variety is great. Really adds to my Castle display!
