10001 Metroliner (As Is) at Winners Park Royal
Saw today at Winners Park Royal, that there is a 10001 Metroliner, being sold as is, clearanced for $50. Now I should state that there is clear tape sealing the set which I would guess means that there probably are pieces missing.
not any more
I got it - it was complete!! Yee haw!!
Bless you chump.
The box is a goner but I think I can live with that.
But wait, it gets better. My NLSO actually started building
it with me. She mainly likes the minifigs, but it's a start.

What does NLSO stand for?
TFM -- ABS addiction is a terrible thing... to waste.
Non Lego Significant Other
I'm glad somebody could take advantage of it, especially at that price. And now to find out that it was complete too. I was really tempted to get it for myself, but as TFM alludes, I didn't want to start the slippery descent into Lego Trains. As it is I don't have the space, let alone trying to a decent train layout. Plus for some reason, I thought this set included the Speed Regulator but right on the box it states that it doesn't.
And Frank if you really want to thank me, help me find an HP Dobby's Release or a World City Armoured Car at discount. Or any other great deals. Thanks!

I'm afraid you may be right. First thing this morning I wasTFM wrote: Muhahahaha! Another train addict is born!
pushing furniture out of the way, thinking about getting
more track, and even DCC so the NLSO and I could each
have a train to drive.
