Thanks for your support Alan. Its much appreciated. If any of these get more than 200 Faves I'll consider posting them to Lego ideas. However, getting 10,000 supporters in 1 year on the Lego Ideas site is a daunting task. My Snoopy quickly got up up 400, then the momentum slowed to a crawl. I'm not sure what to do to get more exposure and support.. I suspect that the right idea will mostly take care of itself getting their... I need an idea for a MOC that will have MASS APPEAL. I think it has to both be of interest to a wide audience, while also being a timely topic.

I still have hopes that Snoopy will make it. Perhaps when the Snoopy Movie starts getting more traction in the public eye, I will try to advertise my "Snoopy" idea some more.

My sense is to find the niche communities who will get onboard supporting a project. It's not the general public nor the the AFOLs who drive the numbers.

Do some My Little Pony MOCs and get the bronies onboard.

Good idea.. Let me think about that.... I wonder how many Bronies are also FOL's that would actually support an Idea's project...

As I see it, for what might be considered "fan"atical based communities it doesn't really matter. They'll support it because it's MLP, if they happen to like Lego even better.

My seventh entry: Quarantine

A terrible plague known as "The Doll Effect" is quickly spreading throughout the indigenous population. Symptoms include loss of articulation, lengthening of limbs, and an uncontrollable attraction to pretty colors.

Keep your distance and do NOT accept any Friendly requests!

All species are affected, people and animals alike! Infected life forms are being gathered and placed into Quarantine until such time as a cure can be developed.Image

My eighth rover: COOPer

The CO-OPerative Education Rover was designed to train two "TYPE A" personalities the value of working together.

Students failing to cooperate would inevitably go nowhere, or drive over a cliff.

Unless pilots worked together, they would never reach their intended destination. First they would need to agree on a destination, then they would have to work together to get to said destination.

Controls:
-Side lever controls the speed of the students wheel.
-Seats swivel for easy direction reversal.
-When students simply could not stand to see each other any more, the seats swivel outward, blocking the view of the other driver, and locking the students wheel (for safety).

My Eleventh Rover: Primitive Rover 30000 AD

In the early days of Space Exploration Rovers were powered by Yellow Photo Voltaic Cells. These were highly unreliable during low light, so this rover was built with the ability to allow drivers to power it by foot.

My twelfth rover! An even dozen... At least one more on the way... ;)

The Crater Trike

Used by Tycho Crater Owners as the official "Race Support Vehicle" for the Annual Tycho Crater Race.

Officials can now patrol the entire course, quickly addressing potential improprieties and delivering beer to thirsty drivers faster than ever before.

My Thirteenth Rover: The ATR "ALL TERRAIN ROVER"

...and now for something completely different!

Most All Terrain Rovers while very capable, are still unable to travel across some terrains due to the fixed configuration of their frame and suspension systems...

Removal of the frame and suspension system is the only logical solution.

At this time, Tycho Systems is excited to announce a new evolution in rover technology...

We now present the "ANYWHERE YOU WANNA GO YOU CAN GO THERE ROVER. But you can just call it just call it the "ATR" for short.

No longer will rover pilots worry about deep ruts, unusually rugged terrain, or unexpected methane lakes!

The new ATR can easily traverse even the most uneven surface.

Gone is the troublesome need to plan your trip around difficult terrain, Our latest NAV system will take you from A to B in the shortest possible distance by following a simple and straight route.

When traction becomes a problem simply flip the Quadrapedal motion button. In this configuration what was impassible becomes easy-peasy. Walk over harsh terrain, and easily power your way across unexpected lakes!

Their is even a bipedal mode! Yes, bipedal! Our engineers haven't quite figured out why you would need this configuration, but they sleep well knowing it is their if you decide to use it. We are confident that you will find a purpose for it, when least expected.

I happened to link through to the LEGO Ideas site and then I remembered this topic. So I searched for "My Little Pony" and then "pony" and zero came up. However, then I remembered that MLP is a Hasbro license and they do Kre-O, so unfortunately it would be a non-starter on LEGO Ideas. However, if you want eyeball hits, I'm sure that they'll deliver.

So did you win? I tried to take a look but couldn't find anything. Are they still judging?
