Wow, did I miss the boat or what? Anyone know if it ended on time?

This stuff did not last long. I went back on the 19th and it was emptied out. They had nothing left on clearance.
I wish I bought more

Re: 50% off select Lego sets at Target
Meh this whole uneven sales between different Target's thing is less like the US Retail Chain and more like the Zellers' chain it took over...
Re: 50% off select Lego sets at Target
I frequently shop south of the border and Walmart, Target and Kmart are the same as well...very inconsistent.
I work in retail and it we have the same price model. Big chains will have advertised national sales, then each store has to see what discontinued stock it still has base on hand. Then you may have to take deeper discounts to get rid of it by a certain date. If said article is pacing well, then no discount needed, but another store may have a deep discount because of too much on hand.
I assume that Surrey is one of the newest to open and probably quite a few new managers who do not have enough experience with this and they just slashed and burned stock before Christmas.
They must be sitting on a lot of the 2014 sets and needed the space.

I should add to my post, saying that the Lansdowne location didn't have any of the sets that Slogghead had listed.Gumby wrote:The Target in Richmond didn't have any clearance LEGO at all... All regular price!
