So the most recent character list rumours were correct.

Considering there are already a bunch of Toy Story aliens in circulation (from when Toy Story sets) I'd have liked something more unique. However, considering how many more Disney characters could be made into CMFs, I'm sure this is just Series 1 of many.

The method of announcement is really odd. A Disney blog post. You would think they would want to capitalize on it better.

Anyways, I'm not too crazy about some of the translations and using different standards of minifig heads and molded heads. For instance, I didn't recognize that as Mr. Incredible, I thought it was his son. I would have hoped that Captain Hook had longer legs. I really don't like the Genie, because he's too small. And Buzz seems an odd choice given they've got a cold for his head already.

Some are done really well though. Ursula and Stitch in particular.

I understand what both of you are saying and I agree.
But with the toy Story alien someone like me that missed out on those sets, I can now get them again.

Let's hope next wave of Disney cmf have Mike and Sully, dark wing duck OR tailspin characters

That's an awesome picture! I love it.

Too bad there won't be a Woody figure in this set.

Prices for Woody aren't that outrageous on Bricklink though http://alpha.bricklink.com/pages/clone/ ... toy003#T=P

I think you're confusing that with Don Bluth's Land Before Time.

Cool right?

When I showed my co-worker the figs yesterday the first thing he said was about how Alice comes with drugs and alcohol. :o

I don't think the witch looks evil enough; she needs a better face. Syndrome was well done though, and I hope they make the 3 other family members to go with Mr. Incredible.

They did 2 waves of Simpsons cmf, I'm guessing the power partnership lego and Disney have, We're going to be seeing a few waves of Disney figs.
I know there's lots of hardcore Disney fans out there, and everyone loves things that are iconiczed in lego. it will be a no brainer for the casual fans of either brand to buy these.
